Moto Guzzi made their name with single cylinder racers. In 1957 they bought out this fantastic V-8 racer. It progress in the 1957 Senior TT was hampered by a piston seizure, but Dickie Dale rode this innovative machine into 4th place on the Senior. It was never raced again in the Island, Guzzi, together with MV and Mondial, pulled out of racing at the end of the season
